As some of you may know, I have recently started working in London. Trying to work 5 days a week and fit my training around it is quite hard (as I'm sure many people know), but mornings like this really make it worth it!
I had a recovery 60 minute run to do today, and I thought it would be nice to run around Regents Park, which is right next to my offices. I've never really ventured that far into the park so I didn't really have a specific route in mind - I just followed the paths and hoped it would take me in a circle!
I am so glad I decided to do this run today - I managed to catch the sunrise during my run, and also take a few pictures! There is also a zoo in the park, so managed to see some of the animals in there! From these photos, you wouldn't think I was in central London! It made the run so much better (it was freezing cold this morning, so I wasn't really looking forward to it) and I am definitely going to do it again.
I highly recommend this run to anyone who is near London or maybe works in London!
