Winter is finally upon us, bringing with it the dreaded winter training.
Every Triathlete knows that the winter season is the hardest training you will ever do. Along with the freezing cold weather, torrential rain and muddy cross-country races, the training shifts to focus on getting the base fitness the best it can be before picking up the speed next season. The training can become quite long and boring, but of course, I cannot expect to go into next year's season without getting some horribly-testing training sessions along the way! Australia World Champs is my big goal next year, and I want to be as prepared as possible! Hopefully I will have my shoulder injury sorted soon and I can get on with trying to retain this years successes. Bring on 2018!!! P.S. This weather is making me miss the summer!
